MELOA Consortium

MELOA consortium is composed by technology-driven organizations and institutions, who are highly motivated and committed to explore innovative ways to deploy new in-situ observing systems, to improve ocean monitoring.

Deimos Group

Deimos Group delivers advanced design solutions and turn-key space software systems since 2001. Deimos Space and Deimos Engenharia are subsidiaries from the Group, and are considered reference players in the European space sector.

Instituto Hidrográfico

Instituto Hidrográfico, a Navy unit, is the Portuguese National Authority for Hydrographic Cartography, but also a State Laboratory with scientific competences in safety of navigation, oceanography, marine geology and chemistry.

ISR

Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica (ISR) develops R&D activities in advanced systems and control concepts, tools and technologies for a wide range of areas encompassing robotics, automation, networked vehicles and systems, with high societal impact.

BlueWise Marine

BlueWise Marine is a not-for-profit company that supports the Marine Institute in the management of Ireland’s marine Test and Demonstration facilities in Galway Bay. BlueWise Marine enables the testing, demonstration and validation of marine renewable energy devices and of novel marine sensors and equipment, and contributes to the collection of marine data in Ireland.

OceanScan-MST

OceanScan – Marine Systems & Technology is a Portuguese independent company, based in Porto, with the mission to design, develop, manufacture and market innovative systems for oceanographic surveys, environmental monitoring and underwater inspection applications. OceanScan-MST was involved in the construction of the first WAVY units.

Composite Solutions

Composite Solutions is young and dynamic engineering and naval construction company dedicated to creating solutions at sea. The company develops, optimizes and produces customized composite structures for maritime applications. Composite Solutions aims to be an anchor company in the development of projects in new technologies of the sea.

CLS

Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS), a subsidiary of the French Space Agency, is a world leader in satellite services for environmental monitoring. CLS specializes in delivering institutional and commercial satellite-based services to institutions, public authorities and commercial operators.

UPC

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech (UPC) is a public institution dedicated to higher education and research, specialized in the fields of engineering, architecture and science. UPC is commitment to the environment and to tackle present and future challenges.

INESC TEC

INESC Technology and Science (INESC TEC) is a private non-profit research institution having as associates the University of Porto, INESC and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. The activity at INESC TEC runs under the paradigm of the knowledge to value production chain.
